Was in town and enjoyed the lake country vibe at the Sand Bar Inn! I had the veggie burger and tasted the chicken jerk quesadilla, both were delicious! Great place to relax on the beautiful waters of Canandaigua Lake. Grounds were beautiful to explore, reminded me of Mackinac Island.

What a wonderful meal! We enjoyed a beautiful Day before our concert at CMAC here. We ordered three appetizers and a couple drinks. The cocktails were delicious! The calamari was perfectly cooked and fresh! we also ordered their pub pretzel which was very good as well. The cheese could have been better however....a beer cheese would be amazing with that! Highly recommend this restaurant. We can’t wait to go back!

Love the atmosphere here! We sat in the bar area and enjoy a delicious salad and chips and salsa/guac. So good! Loved the service and my spicy strawberry margarita was top tier!

The Sand Bar was a delicious treat! We made a reservation with a large group and were seated promptly. Staff was engaging, kind and efficient. Food was delicious and the views were tranquil. Will definitely be back!

Lobster roll was really solid, also enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and the salad. Beautiful view to enjoy some sea food if you’re staying at the lake house. Also would recommend the blue whale drink, delicious and comes in a fun glass!

The location is amazing and a lot of attention was paid to the design and asthetic details. Great clean lake vibe. The pictures do not do it justice, at all. Simply gorgeous with amazing views. The drinks from the bar are potent, arrive quickly and are expertly prepared. The crab cake hush puppies were a real delight, crab in ever bite with a delicious cornmeal hush puppy. The oyster po'boy is really New Orleans Cajun style dusted with cornmeal and fried to perfection. The bun is high quality and could be a meal by itself. The fries are perfect, creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. My lunch companion dined on the Kale Ceasar Salad with added chicken and stated it was perfect. It comes with real anchovies. The service was excellent. The sun changed position while after we were seated and the server promptly adjusted the umbrella to block the sun for us. This is a great value for the amount of food you receive, the quality of the food and the ambience. I will be sure to visit on all of my trips to Canandaigua.

Beautiful spot along the lake. Nice walk on the boardwalk as we waited for a table at sunset. Food was decent and satisfying but not like wow this is good. Crab was really good in the crab cake. Bun was not.
